Reports
In this Reports section, we take a look at UK Cycling habits with regard to commuting and how this compares to other forms of transport. We primarily use Census data from the Office for National Statistics and where available, report on data by Gender, Region and Local Authority Area. Our first Travel to Work Report was written in 2011 and was based on the 2001 Census. Our 2013 reports were based on the 2011 Census and analyse data from that year, along with comparisons to previous Censuses. The report looks at the evolution of commuting habits, density of commuters by population, travel to work methods and how cycling fits into the modern commuting lifestyle.
