Mountain Bikes
Mountain Bikes are used by riders off-road, often over rough terrain like rocks or through forest trails, using a bike built for such landscape. Mountain bikes share similarities with other bikes, but incorporate features designed to enhance durability and performance in rough terrain, like front and rear suspensions. Mountain bikes can be broken down into several types of bike and whilst most are used for fun and fitness, there is a strong professional mountain bike circuit. Road Bikes
Road Bikes are bikes used on roads for leisure cycling, touring and racing. They tend to have drop handlebars and multiple gears, although there are single and fixed gear bikes. Road bikes also use narrow, high-pressure tyres to decrease road resistance and tend to be lighter than general purpose bikes. Road bikes include Race Bikes like those in the Tour de France and are used by keen amateurs looking to test themselves in a competitive environment. Touring Bikes are more robust and built for comfort. We have loads of great stuff for you, including these Road Bike Reviews.
