The Great North Bike Ride

You’ll have heard of the Great North Run, but how about the Great North Bike Ride?

The ride takes place on 28th August 2011 and aims to raise money for Childhood Cancer.

It starts from Seahouses at a respectable 9:00am, so no excuses for missing your lie-in. You will cycle along the beautiful North Northumberland coastline, an area designated as having outstanding natural beauty. After cycling an estimated 50 miles along the scenic coastline you will arrive at Tynemouth Priory and Castle.

Entry Fee is £15 and includes a Nike T-Shirt, a medal and refreshments.

This is a sponsored Charity Bike Ride for The Chris Lucas Trust. Your entry fee only covers the cost of running the event so please ask family and friends to sponsor you generously to make a real difference to the lives of children and young adults suffering from Cancer.
