Long-sleeve jerseys and jackets are essential for our core but nothing beats a good pair of winter gloves. It’s important to protect our fingers when cycling as these control our steering, braking and gear changes, without which cycling would be pretty painful.
Winter Gloves come in a number of forms but are usually full fingered with added protection at the finger tips, and made from water resistant, waterproof and windproof materials. The thickness of the gloves varies and each cyclist will have their own preference. Personally, I’d rather wear thinner windproof gloves that thicker padded gloves as it gives me greater control over braking and gear changes.
