The Himiway range of electric bikes are robust, endurable, stylish and incredibly versatile. The Cruiser and Step-Thru Cruiser fat bikes are as close to a standard electric bike as you may consider, although nothing about Himiway would be seen as standard. These are the entry-level bikes with prices and specifications to reflect this but do not think of them as sub-standard in any way whatsoever.
The Zebra ebike is an all-terrain electric bike, equipped with a 250W brushless hub motor and upgraded 20Ah battery for extended range. The Himiway Big Dog Cargo bike and Escape Pro are moped-styled electric bikes, which are slightly more expensive and slightly heavier.
The top-of-the-range and by far our favourite, is the Himiway Cobra, and Forest Cobra, which boast a top off-road speed of 25 mph. It is stunning to look at and just as exciting to ride.
Drop down to the bottom of this review to compare the full Himiway electric bike range specifications and prices.

The Himiway Zebra is an All-Terrain Electric Bike, although for us it’s probably more suited for roads. It’s equipped with 250W gear hub motor, upgraded inner ring, removable 960Wh Samsung battery capacity and 52 5000mAh cells, all of which help to extend the range to around 80 miles. The 26-inch Kenda fat tyres give great traction and stability in most cycling conditions.

Himiway Escape Pro
The Himiway Escape Pro is a moped-styled electric bike ideally suited for city commuting. The removable 48V 17.5Ah battery makes it easy for charging, which takes just 7 hours for a full charge. In pedal assist mode, the Escape Pro reaches a max range of 60 miles, meaning it’s unlikely to need a daily charge. An intelligent pedal-assist system automatically adjusts power in different conditions.

The Big Dog gets smaller 20-inch tyres but these boast hydraulic disc brakes with 180mm rotors for excellent stopping power for this 15.5 mph top speed electric bike.

Himiway Cobra
The top-of-the-range Himiway Cobra is a beast, designed for fast mountain bike action at speeds upto 25 mph. Power comes from the 250W motor and sees 86Nm of torque, managed with a torque sensor, delivered atop fat 26″ x 4.8″ tyres and controlled with front and rear hydraulic disc brakes and 180mm rotors to ensure stopping distances don’t get out of hand.
