Scott Spark RC 2011 Mountain Bike

Scott Spark RC Overview

From its bold design to its high performance components and appropriately high price the Scott Spark RC mountain bike is back for 2011, ready to take on the world when combined with the right rider. Not for the faint hearted or the casual riders, this is a racer that begs to be used to its full potential.

The Scott Spark RC is definitely a distinctive looking mountain bike that will not be mistaken for another brand or model. This is largely thanks to its all-white wheels which are going to instantly show the dirt and scuffs accumulated through use but will allow it to stand out from the crowd. In all honesty it is not a colour I would choose automatically, but with the overall look of the bike it works quite well and for some it will be a real selling point, giving definite bragging rights when amongst fellow enthusiasts.

The whole of the Scott Spark RC is geared towards racing as soon as you jump in the saddle, with a lightweight construction allowing for speed across all terrains as long as you have the physical power required to push onwards. The ride is fairly smooth but not quite as flawless as the 110mm of rear travel might otherwise suggest. However, the target audience is not likely to be put off by this factor.
