Scott Aspect 30 2011 Mountain Bike

Scott Aspect 30 Review

If you are looking for a brand new mountain bike from the 2011 range but do not want to spend a vast amount of cash then the Scott Aspect 30 might be a viable option. Whilst it does not have a particularly high price tag it does offer plenty of solid components and the ability to perform well in a variety of situations. You can take advantage of its light alloy frame, which is robust without being completely inflexible, due to the front fork with integrated shock from Suntour. Also and unlike some of the more expensive alternatives, you can actually choose between two different colour schemes.

One advantage of the Scott Aspect 30 is that its braking system is hydraulically powered and uses full discs from the Tektro Draco range. This lets you get a grip on the speed of your bike and the way that it handles with greater precision and power than in the slightly cheaper options. Most serious riders will look out for hydraulic disc brake technology and this is definitely a mark of superior performance.

You can pick either black and blue or red and white versions of the Scott Aspect 30 2011 mountain bike, although availability may be limited depending on which scheme is the more popular of the two. Both options make the bike look suitably stylish and whilst I appreciate that this is not always a concern amongst cycling enthusiasts, it will be for some. As well as looking good this model offers a good riding position that combines with sensible frame geometry to give you plenty of clearance across different surfaces.
