Scott Spark 35 Overview

If you are serious about mountain bikes then you will probably be willing to invest some serious cash in getting a sturdy, reliable piece of kit that will last you many years. The Scott Spark 35 is definitely in the upper echelons in terms of price, but is it also going to be a worthwhile, valuable purchase in the long run?

The Scott Spark 35 mountain bike which is just arriving in a refreshed version for 2011 is not really for the casual rider. Black, red and white accents make up its design, with plenty of appealing detail dotted around the forks and even the rims of the wheels. The whole bike has been set up for competition, with the idea being that you will haul it with you whether you are hitting the hills and dales or tackling a course across multiple stages. It has a fully adjustable level of travel to suit different terrains and situations, so you can customise the ride to suit, which is definitely a nice touch.

So far the Scott Spark 35 mountain bike has been made to sound a little intimidating, but in reality it is not going to bite because it is set up for long distance endurance and high performance from all angles. This means whether you are just taking your first foray in to serious mountain biking or if you are a seasoned veteran you will be able to get a lot from this bike.
